The Story Behind the Song

I wanted to write a Thanksgiving song for my grandchildren, one that was simple for the very youngest ones. I thought about the story of the ten lepers and how Jesus taught us the importance of being grateful. So that was the message I wanted for this song -- that Jesus wants us to be thankful, and when we are it makes us happy too.
