Music has always been a special part of my life. I grew up in a musical family, and we often sang together. I love to sing and write songs. I wrote my first song when I was fifteen years old, and I have been writing songs ever since.  I chose to call my collection of songs “The Songs in My Heart” because when I write a song, it really does come from my heart. The songs of my faith reflect my testimony of Jesus Christ and his restored gospel. The songs of Love, Home and Family were generally written for special occasions and special people in my family. The Christmas songs capture my love for the true meaning and the magical memories of the season. I have written many songs for children, including learning songs that I have used in homeschooling my four daughters.
