The Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song to include in my Get Positive program because I know that showing gratitude is an important part of positive thinking and well-being. One of the best ways to improve our attitude and outlook on life is to find something to be grateful for in every day and in every situation. It's important to say "thank you" and show appreciation every day for even the little things that others do. It's one of the best ways to strengthen our relationships with others. Thomas S. Monson said, "We can lift ourselves and others as well, when we refuse to remain in the realm of negative thought and cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude."
