The Story Behind the Song

This song was written to be performed by young women for Father's Day. Because of the ones who did not have a father in their home, I wanted the message to reflect a gratitude for fatherhood, not just the father in the home. I began to think of my own father and the fathers who have blessed my life through the priesthood. I thought of my Father in Heaven, the one who exemplifies the perfect example of Fatherhood.
