The Story Behind the Song
This is an Easter song written in 1996. It was written to honor Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who loves us so much that he gave to us His greatest gift -- His Atonement. He invites us to come unto Him and allow the Atonement to bless our lives. He is our Savior. This brings great peace and joy to me. Alleluia! I made an SAB arrangement that we sang in my ward choir (which I sang in). Then in 2018, when I was called as choir director, I revised it and made an SATB arrangement for us to sing for Easter. It is one of my favorite songs and truly reflects my testimony of Jesus Christ, my Savior, the Son of God.
